There is no reason why you should dislike Ravenclaw house; only dislike it when you've lost over 20 points and have been disowned for 5 minutes (Ravenclaw house tends to do that to people, but only if they repeatedly lose points).

If you hate Ravenclaw so much, then that should not stop you from becoming a 3rd year. What Emma Stevens said, once you're a 3rd year you could apply for a house change. I believe only 2 people have switched houses, because by the time they're in their 3rd year, they still don't want to be in their original house. Most people realize in the third year that they've come to love their house. I know a Hufflepuff who wanted Ravenclaw at first, but they ended up falling in love with Hufflepuff. Maybe the same might happen with you--we never know
