Continuous Crashing

For the last week my Minecraft has been crashing multiple times a day....it almost always crashes whenever I use /home or am Apparated.

I think it has something to do with the Java Runtime Environment and components relating to Windows, if I'm understanding the code toward the bottom.  Any suggestions?  Please help.   This is getting frustrating.

Also, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft.  I also have Optifine.

You may be having RAM issues. Can you post your DXDIAG RAM info?

Did you update Windows just before the crashing started?

I did recently update from Windows 8 to Windows 10.  However, this computer is entirely refurbished, so I'd think it shouldn't be having issues. Shows how much I know.

I am trying to pull up the DXDIAG RAM, but it simply is not opening. Sigh.

Try running the Win10 version of minecraft - I think you get it for free and it should have great performance on older PC's compared to the other one xD

Press windows key+R, type in "dxdiag" and pull up your RAM info from there

TBH It's probably due to windows 10 being rubbish

@Crane How do I find the Windows 10 version? I don't see it on Minecraft.net. Sorry if that's a dumb question.

RIP. Windows 10 Edition BETA only has Singleplayer.

This is an error with windows 10.  The exception at the bottom is related to a runtime variable on your computer that might not be compatible:

This is not something the server can fix, and most likely need to wait for minecraft to update.

Beyond that, try turning your view distance down.  I am not sure if it will help but if the issue is doing /home, perhaps the amount of loading of items it has to do is a cause for it, and with a smaller view distance you might stop it.

You can try going into Minecraft Profile Settings, then checking the boxes under the "Java" settings thing and try different combinations of checking and unchecking them.

Also, try installing JDK if you haven't already, and make sure you have the latest version of Java.

No one needs to download a JDK for java, that is for java DEVELOPMENT, since it is literally a 'java development kit'.

While allocating too much ram to any java program can be bad, its not necessarily the worst thing in the world.  I suggest next time googling the error before asking someone to download stuff.

Those were just possible SUGGESTIONS, and there isn't any harm in downloading JDK unless the person has space/store issues with their computer and they can't afford to use any more space.
