I know it seems easier for people to have a conversation on the staff applications, but I am here to remind all users of why it is a rule not to have them:
#1: In order to preserve the order of post count, we ask that only votes are applies, as they don't bump the thread. That way we can keep track of the most recent applicants and who got accepted.
#2: Counting votes is easier this way so we don't have a ton of mess in conversations with votes going on.
#3: Anything in a conversation on the application could bias someone in a different way and we want everyone to form their own opinion of how they vote.
If you have a question when applying, please post it in the help me section. Don't post on the application itself, just like you wouldn't write questions about your application to get a driver's license on the application itself.
