I'll walk you through this step by step.
1. Open Minecraft so you're at the title screen.
2. Hit "Multiplayer".
3. Select the server on your list by left-clicking on it once.
4. Hit "Edit".
5. There should be a button called "Server Texture" and then it should say something. Make sure it says either Enabled or Prompt.
That should fix it.

Hia Everyone! So recently I got the resource pack, and it was the first resource/texture pack I have ever gotten before. So I clicked the install and download automatically thingy,and I had it. Yay!! I was having fun and all with it, noticing all sorts of new things. I felt pretty cool. 
Then I log out, and come back about 30 minutes later, and the resource pack is gone. I think I may have kinda screwed something up (No duh) and I would really appreciate it if I could get help. Once again, I feel this is a typical me moment. See ya peoples!! -Star

Im not really sure how to have the server on my list because I just use direct connect, and if I could know how to put it on the list thing that would also be very helpful, and thank you for telling me how to do that! 
I figured it out now though, I just said yes when the screen popped up. If there is a way to keep it like that though, like getting the server on my list, I will definitely do it. Thanks again for your help! See ya!!!
