So, I was playing around on the Main World on the server, and my friend and I desided to practise passing in a game of Quidditch. We headed over to the Quidditch Pitch, both joined a team and went out to prepare our brooms (reach the maximum speed before the game started). I started lagging badly as I got onto my broom. I ignored it for a moment, untill I was glitching around the pitch, and couldn't move my head. I eventually came to a stand still, but still couldn't move my head or boom. I desided my best hope was to just fall to the ground and return for my stuff. So, I tried to crouch to dismount, but I was unable to do that, either. I then timed out. When I rejoined, it spawned me in the Towny world. I thought nothing of it, and continued to type /switch. I then was faced with the "downloadin terrain" screen (the screen you see when travelling somewhere, like to the Nether). After a few moments of this, my gamed timed out, with the following message:
Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection for forcibly removed by the remote host
I then tried to restart my Minecraft, but it appeared with this message:
Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
I'm not sure what is happening, but I have a hunch that it may have something to do with the fact I was mid-air on my broom when I left. If perhaps a teleportation could be arranged for me to be teleported somewhere in the split second between when the server registers that I have switched and when I lose connection, that would be amazing.
Anyway, I hope this can be solved..
