Qudditch Inturmurals

So we all love the quidditch season but us first years dont get the chance to play unless people are missing. So I was thinking we do a small quidditch thing with teams where you choose a team of your friends or other people and we set up matches on the forums. Like...

Team A: Rainbow Unicorns vs. Team B: Chocochips

We can have little Quidditch tryouts and its not going to be a big season really just for first years to have to joy of playing in a quidditch style of a season.

If so we would have a sign up sheet somewhee you sign up to be a team captain then you choose your team from there. Probably only like 6 teams tho.

First years are permitted to play quidditch, they just have the sign up for tryouts on the right date.  The other issue with this is that fact that a lot of first years cant fly, which means they have very little chance of being helpful on the house team.  In all honesty, its really hard to get together the 4 house teams, but i was thinking eventually we maybe have the quidditch leagues of britain if we one day get enough people.  We'll have to see.

Rather than teams, I think this would be fun as maybe a weekly like Quidditch get-together, not a league or anything, just people who want to get together with people and play, practice some skills, have fun. I don't like the idea of teams myself for this because with teams there is pressure to get on them, but maybe that's just me.

I mean it could be but it might have to be a one day thing with lots of games rather than the big one.  Like a quidditch tournament that has teams sign up and then they have to knock eachother out like how the dueling tournament worked.  But these would have to be teams ppl make together as a group and then have 7 ppl show up for the tournament.  So maybe they put their team name in 1 hour before the event and participate.
