question of this very short amount of time

A while ago i made a topic about werewolf's and i was told that it is already being coded and made so i have afew questions

 

  • when is it going to come out?
  • how do you become one?
  • and will players be able to become werewolf's?

 

ETA's for code are when the code is done.  You can't rush code & asking a dev about code means the eta is whatever it was + 1 week.

 

The general motto:

 

"There is no ETA. Having an ETA leads to unrealistic deadlines, false hope, and a bad product. It will be ready when it's ready."

You see, the Werewolf project to my understanding isn't a top priority right now. We are currently working on updating the server for 1.9 and I myself am working on updating all the spells. Projects like your idea for a Werewolf can take a while since other things pop up and have greater priority than it.

Honestly, if you want something to come out, rather than asking, learn to code & help out.  We have only 3 real devs on the team, one of which works on all the backend stuff, one works on web dev and the profile system, and the only person working on werewolves is me, who is also working on releasing:

 

Permission system for global permission

Gringotts

FeatherLetters - sending items through mail

Chess Plugin

Town of Salem Plugin

More spells - transfiguration etc.

Quests

A plugin to check who has committed more offenses

A better help plugin to ensure moderators actually help newbies.

+ tons of other minor things on my mantis board.

 

What you imagine is two minutes of work is actually a lot of work.  So please be patient and don't rush us, or it will be postponed further.  Our priority right now is 1.9, not werewolves.

I did not want to seem mean or in any way unkind I qm just interested in this particular thing
