So not to add to this with my problem, but I noticed someone else's post about a bed in Hufflepuff common room and I had this issue. I got a bed in the Common room and used the storage for a short time, and then I got an apartment in London. I emptied my chest and left, and then after a certain period of time I came back to visit the common room. My old bed still says my name, but there's items in the chest that I would not have owned and would not have left behind, so I figured maybe someone might want to check that. Thanks!
