Hia Guys. Star here. I was in the GH with Harmony today, and we were having our usual "Yell at each other in GH while laughing on TS" Andddd Harmony was doing a bit of caps. I did too but only for a bit, only until I realized I was not supposed to and then I stopped. Harmony stopped the caps as well. I was currently talking with my friend IRL whom I just gave a Tinderblast because he does not have a broom. Annnnnd then Harmony used caps (Im assuming by accident) again and then Leo said (Along the lines of, check logs for exact words or whatever) "Watch the caps Harmony" And she stopped..... mostly. She did it one more time but in my opinion it was little. Now, I know there are logs, I don't mean to question staff or anything or to be an annoying unpleasant brat or something like that, but Harmony was muted for swearing and caps. Apparently there was a swear found in the logs I guess, so cool, she was swearing, thats an offense. The part that gets me is, she stopped. But yes, she cursed or something. Fine, mute her. But I know she "Bypassed mute" But oml guys we were on TS and she was in a loud room and could not talk so she was talking in chat and completely forgot that that is considered "Bypassing mute" Like I'm a little annoyed that all this had to happen. Well, best regards, Star Holmes.

Turns out it wasn't a swear (It might've been, I don't know. A lot of weird typos in there), but she was still repeatedly spamming and using caps after being warned more than once.

She was banned only because she bypassed the mute using /me. I'm not sure how one could forget that using a command to talk in chat after being muted (aka, being told that they aren't allowed to talk in chat for a while) isn't bypassing a punishment. Even if she did somehow "forget" this, it still happened, and people must be punished for it.

I had also only muted her for 5 minutes. This isn't an extreme amount of time. It was designed to be a measure of saying "Here, things got too loud, take a couple of minutes to chill out, and come back calm". This is widely used if users are repeatedly ignoring warnings.

I'd just like to point out that there are a bajillion other places to do this, why do it in the one place you can get in trouble for it? Forbidden Forest, an apartment, even the bloody Leaky Cauldron, why the Great Hall where it's not allowed? I never quite understand why people insist on doing stuff like this where it's not allowed.
