Since I personally know a lot of people on here that is apart of the LGBT+ community, I thought maybe we should have a place to tell more about us and share our pride. So of you want to join in comment on this post saying the following:

  • what you identify as.
  • when did you know
  • how old you are (that's if you want to say. It's okay if you don't. It just gives more context)
  • If you are straight and are supportive of our community, then just say you're sexuality and why you are supportive.

I'll start. Hello. I'm JazzyLINDA. I'm Asexually Bi-Romantic. I've known who I am since I was 16. I am currently 19.

NOTE: I really do hope that this is an appropriated topic to talk about on the forums, if it isn't please inform me and I'll delete! This is made with the intention of inclusion and acceptance

I'm River! I'm gender fluid and prefer neutral or female pronouns, but it's not overly important to me (unless I specifically ask someone(s) to use particular pronouns)
I'm also pansexual (and panromantic, for those who know the difference) I discovered about two years ago (but I was definitely queer [if you'll pardon the word] before all that) and have been learning more ever since!
Thanks for reading ^.^

Edit: also I'm 14, forgot to mention

Ehhhhh sure why not?

I'm Drew and I'm gay. And I'll be honest, even after so much love and support and acceptance, there are some days when I will do just about anything to avoid admitting that to people. Which, to some of you, probably seems crazy. "Of course Drew is gay." Well, at Knockturn, you've all been wonderful and amazing and made me feel really comfortable with it. But every new group of people I come across in life, I'm constantly overthinking whether or not I have to be subtle or not.

And it's insane trying to keep track of it all. This is a main reason I don't use social media, because I'm scared I'm gonna slip up and one group of family and friends that didn't know will find out. Sort of silly right?

I'm 21 (almost 22 ew), I've been 'out' since I was 19 (I think?) and I've known for, well, ever. I've always been attracted to guys. When I was little, I didn't know that what I felt was 'attraction' or that what I felt towards girls wasn't. But in high school, it became pretty obvious, and I tried really hard to ignore it, but it's sort of like a nagging feeling or desire that never goes away. At 15 I tried to come out of the closet to my mom because there was one guy that I really liked and really wanted to ask out. But it didn't go so well, and she didn't believe me, and she made fun of me. So the next day, I told her that I had no idea what came over me, and that I was totally straight. And for some reason, she chose to believe that. So I decided to stay in the closet until I could move out and didn't tell anyone for the next 4 years.

Except my sister. She totally knew. I never told her flat out, but she knew and was awesome about it even being so much younger than me. So go siblings, lol.

Well, there you have it! I've talked about myself way more than I'd ever like to, and ew feelings, but hey, if it makes one of you guys feel better, then it's worth it. Take care and stay strong.

Hello there friends I'm Bill and I'm Bisexual!! (woo) uhhh I've known since I was like 12ish. I'm 13 now almost 14 and to be honest I've met a lot of people who said that I'm too young to know what love is and how I'm super confused and all that jazzz. I would do on a rant about that but I need to go to sleep. I've never really come out to this big of a group sooo this is a first lol. I really like ramen and mac and cheese. Yoo if you have chipotle or starbucks gift cards hmu

Hey guys. <3

I recently realized that I am a biromantic asexual. Gender identity and sexuality have never really been a topic of discussion for me because I've always been open to ideas, so it wasn't until this year after I'd turned 20 when I really started learning more about the community and what everything really means.

I always sort of knew I was attracted to both men and women because in my opinion, it's really just the personality that counts. Beauty isn't on the outside, it's on the inside, and I'm attracted to all sorts of inner beauty. I've come out about it to my my friends and my parents, but none of my other family. I'm not ashamed of who I am, I just know the values and beliefs of my family, and it's terrifying thinking what would happen if they knew. I have family members that often use very derogatory terms when speaking of people from the LGBT+ community, so the topic is already rather sensitive.

I'm glad this has been made a topic, as I think it's very important for us all to share our pride. <3 I know that I, along with probably many others, have a great opportunity to learn more from all of you, and I look forward to doing just that!

Ello! So I am les and found out when I was 12. I told my mom and my sisters know (idk if my oldest sister knows). But that is all the family I told.

Oh also the family I told is fine with it. (haven't told other family because I think they wouldn't approve. Yeah some 100% wouldn't)

well, since so many people are doing this, i might as well.

hello, i'm tessa. i go by she/her, and i'm kinda bisexual? i'm not sure, really. i've only ever dated guys, but i'm in love with this girl. i'm afraid to ask if she's gay/bisexual because i don't want to make her feel weird. anywho, i'm a smol kiddo, like 12, unless i missed a birthday. i'm really bad at dates. of course, my sister seems to think i'm 14 somehow? she's worse than me at names/ages. this... is getting long, so yeah. honestly, i might be pansexual, but it's so confusing to me.

edit: none of my family knows, and i don't think i've told anyone until now.

As far as I can tell I am straight, but like Lyra said, I have a number of friends who are LGBT and I have always believed people can love who they want, who are we to say what's right for other people? I'm 15, 16 in October. :D
