So I went to Aidan's wedding, and me and Esther were muted for NO reason. We were literally standing on top of the altar, which as I believe isn't a bannable reason. Of course I used /me saying that I wanted to leave the wedding and I wanted to be unmuted because they probably muted us because they said to be quiet. I then get a 3 hour tempban for bypassing an illegitimate mute. And then Esther was muted for saying AFK? I don't know who muted me but it's clear B.S. that I'm banned for wanting to leave a wedding? And then Aidan's cursing in /me and wow he gets nothing. Not to forget he's threatening to kick people when he's not even staff.

Heres my side:
While I understand that bypassing a mute is still a bannable offense, the reason for the mute is not valid. I was at Aidan's wedding just messing around, nothing too serious, we both go on top of the alter. I AFK and come back to see my chat flooded with 'Esther get off the alter and take a seat please." I then go ahead and take a seat. I try to say 'Ok, for sure.' but of course, I'm muted. I assume it was just so that everyone would be quiet at the wedding (even though most people weren't muted), but I don't see that as as an actual reason to mute somebody. Cussing/spamming/being inappropriate/caps is a valid reason, but trying to have everybody quite seems irrational. Sure its annoying and inconvenient, but is it really a good way to have everyone quiet? In my opinion, I don't believe so. Again, this isn't excusing the fact I did indeed bypass an unreasonable mute. I would just like to bring attention to what had happened.

What I was told was that you two were spamming drunk chat in the wedding and purposely trying to mess around with everyone. Leo then muted you both (I don't know for how long), and you used /me to bypass that. He banned you guys for 3 hours, but I changed it to a day since that is the standard ban time for bypassing a mute.
I was not informed that other people were also drunk and swearing. I will be looking into that.
We will also be looking in to the incident in general as well.
