That's right everyone, we're going to start opening up towns!
We are currently constructing the very first town, but there will be more to come soon after!
In each town, there are Family Houses. Family Houses are just like they sound, houses for the families of Knockturn! Each family will get a house in a town (not all of them will be in the first town, though. There are only 8-10 per town)!
The houses will have beds in them just like common rooms, and you can get them the same way. However, there is a very limited number of beds per house (17ish), so not everyone may be able to get one. Each bed comes with a double chest that you can have for yourself just like a common room bed. They will also work like common room because you have to wait a while before you can receive a bed (2 weeks online). Beds in Family Houses can also be taken away after a month of inactivity. One important thing to remember before asking to be added, though, is you can only gets beds in the family you were born into. If you get a name change, it doesn't matter. If you were born in a family, that's the family house you're in.
Each family will have a class, and most towns will only contain one class of families. The classes are: high, middle, and poor. Obviously, high class houses would be the largest and most fancy, then middle would be smaller and less fancy, and poor would be very small and not fancy at all. This doesn't mean that poor families don't have cool houses, though, trust me! Our builders have done a very good job of making each and every house that will be added.
Since there are over 200 families on this server, this will be a long ongoing project. It takes time to build the houses and construct the towns themselves, so you guys will have to be patient. I know that it may seem unfair if your family is one of the last to be added, but it can't be helped. All the builders are working very hard to make these possible!
It should also be noted that most of the towns will be connected and each town will have a warp to its center, so you don't have to be worried about all the walking. Each town will also have a town name which will end up being the warp name.
As I stated earlier, there are over 200 families. This means there will be a lot of towns and houses, I will be posting and updating a town list that will give information about all towns in the Families section of the forums so that no one gets lost!
