Its Funny...

Its funny thinking back to when you first joined the server. I still remember the first person who guided me when I joined. To think that all the people who helped me before I was who I am. Well I just think its funny. So I made this form so everyone can talk about there journey from then to now of Knockturn. Idk if this has already been made but I think its a good way for 1. Us to remember how clueless we were when we joined and 2. Get to know each other also. Ill start with my journey so far on this magical place called Knockturn ;D

I remember when I first joined. My friend Lea showed me the server and we got on together with a friend named Luf. We all got our names. Lea Holmes, Luffy Boynton, and... App Ellis. Uggg I HATED that name for awhile until it grew on me and I now cant think of any other name I want. Luffy and Lea were Half-bloods. Lucky me... Muggleborn so the wand process was tiring. Lea had to go and then Luffy went to go watch YT. I sat there clueless at the Leaky Cauldron. Then someone came and asked me if I needed help, Fance Arlington who was intimidating to me but later I would find out is a great person (and future Quidditch Captain of my future house) Anyways she showed me to Ollivanders where it took 12 WANDS to get me my wand. Which I would later kill hundreds of people with it MWAHAHAHHAHAHA Kidding kidding! Anyways we take a long journey after getting all supplies to Hogwarts! I go through to get sorted! I put on the hat and HUFFLEPUFF! I was ehh for it but later on grew to like it. Then as the days pass, more friends of mine join comes Quidditch Tryouts!! Im so nervous. I was going for chaser. But then, so was everyone else. "beater" I typed without thinking. Iv never played that position ever but I was descent. And.. I MADE IT! Go farther on in my journey. I apply for professor. Made that too. I know I'm already far into my adventure at Knockturn but I'll never forget those who helped me get here. Shay teaching me and being my best friend when I first joined (I remember we both were first years then she became 2nd year and we sorta stopped talking to each other) Comparing myself to when I first joined: Shy irl and in game. No friends. Nothing special. Seperate from my skype friends due to them being ALL in Ravenclaw. Me now: Much more mature. I talk more irl and In game. I have so many people who care about me. Professor, Quidditch, YT. Who needs Ravenclaws when you have Huffles? It might be a game but it has really shaped me as a person. People, experience. Its all amazing.

ok. i suppose mine is similar. when it started, i nearly named myself astrid, but i decided my real name would be easier. then, y'know, the lastname thing was difficult, bc i think i had the option of malfoy, but i chose rose because i thought it was pretty. then, i was clueless af, and katna was like "hey look nerd you gotta follow me you have no idea what you're doing" so he guided me and my sister, who we had to wait on for a moment. god, this makes me so nostalgic, but her computer was screwing up, so we kept having to wait on her. but, finally, we made it to hogwarts, where i nearly died from how beautiful it was, and got sorted. murphi, much to her utter distaste, got gryffindor instead of slytherin, and i got ravenclaw instead of  gryffindor. as sad as that was, i'm glad i got ravenclaw, i don't think anything would have been the same otherwise. later on, i  got professor, and taught charms, then i got got mod, and was later promoted to demi-admin, then i resigned. sad, sad. anyway, that's pretty much my story. 

I joined the teamspeak because i found one of the server's mods on github, and needed help to repurpose it, and re-use it on my server. 6 hours later I joined the minecraft server, and was guided by Nomsy, Crystal, and Pandette (got the all star treatment). A couple days later, I joined Blast's town, got the only plot I wanted taken from me by Fance, so, in a drunken stupor, I asked her to marry me, so I could use the plot. 

Back then, I could never have imagined how much I would fall in love with this server <3

Now, almost a year later, I've seen the server grow, and rise, and crash (#blamedima). I remember seeing over 100 people online on valentines day... and having my mind blown. I honestly don't know where I would be, if I hadn't found this place. I do know one thing though, I'd be a lot more bored.

I was a muggle when I joined, so I was confused the whole time. I Didn't know anything about the houses,  so  when the test asked my preferred house I picked  Ravenclaw since the name sounds kinda cool. (even tho now if I got anything other than Gryffindor I'd jump off the astronomy tower, or torture nicely ask a staff member if I could get a house change) den I met mai baes, formed a cult club and started to cure my normieism. Am edgelord now. pece out normies <3

Well, I started my journey quite similar to you guys. I started the starting quiz, blah blah blah. My friend IRL told me about this server, so I was excited. When it came time to get my name, I actually knew exactly what name I wanted: Star. My username is TheStartreker, and on the server that I played on before Knockturn (Also the first server I played on, ever XD) my nickname was Star. Everybody called me Star. On that server, you could use the command /nick to get a nickname, so my nickname was changed to Star. And, I know its weird, but if the owner really liked you, they changed your nickname to have a color, and thats exactly what happened for me My name became Star. Anyways, blah blah blah, moving right along XD. I put in Star, and then I got my last name: Holmes. I thought, cool, its interesting. Anyways, I spawned in at the leaky cauldron, and I can't even tell you how confused I was XD But luckily, a nice staff member came to help me. That staff member was Bethie Malfoy She guided me all the way to Hogwarts after I got my supplies. Then, it was that very important moment. It was time to be sorted. I put on the hat, and I was hoping I'd get Gryffindor, since ya know... I was that person... XD. I put on the hat, and I was sorted into Hufflepuff. I was disappointed, thats all I can say XD. Fedz Cresswell (Became Fedz Potter) guided me to the Hufflepuff common room, and waited patiently as I took 249852 tries to open the common room door. Well, from there on, things seemed pretty cool. I started casting spells. I started earning money. I eventually saved up for my first broom, the moontrimer. Venditox did not exist then... so I had to use Incendio, which meant the puffskiens would constantly die in the fire, and I feel like every time the puffskiens would drop galleons, they would die in the fire and the galleons would be burned XD. I also discovered something interesting: Gobstones. I started off with a nice yellow gobstone, I don't exactly remember its name XD Then, I got another yellow one for 5 galleons, and then I got a night fury. Gobstones started becoming unpopular, so I have not played it in some time now. Soooo I was saving up for a nice little shop in Diagon, and then something funny happened XD Well, recently, the prices for like everything had been cut in half, since the mining world shops had been removed. And right as I found this out, I went to the shop with the money I had because I had enough for it now, and then I saw that it had been purchased XD Anyways, I bought a shop eventually, and another shop, and an apartment, but the second shop and apartment were later on. Well, after I became a second year, I chose to apply for professor! And I didn't get it the first time because I did not have Teamspeak XD I applied again, later on, and somehow, I got accepted! I became Charms Professor Star Holmes. I think I was a professor for like three weeks, because I chose a terrible time to apply XD I found myself not teaching the minimum three classes. I resigned from professor. Then, I found quidditch! I had known about quidditch for a long time, I just never really played it, since I still had a moontrimer, although by this time I think I had my cleansweep one. I tried out for the team, and I got second string chaser. I was thrilled! Then, I got my tinderblast, and when I tried out for the team again, I made first string chaser! I then bought my starsweeper, from shop, 1700 galleons. And like the next day I heard someone was selling a starsweeper for 1500 galleons and someone else was selling one for 1200 galleons. Ya. XD I had not practiced quidditch in a while, so I ended up on the second string this past season. This brings us to today. I am a happy third year Hufflepuff. I honestly don't know what I would do without knockturn. It was only the second server Ive ever played on, but I played on that other server for a while. Without knockturn, all I know is I'd be missing out on a lot of fun. I love this server a lot. I love the map, I love the staff, and I love the players. Im pretty glad I found it

Um, I heard about this server from a friend, and I decided to join because I had never been on a Harry Potter server before (already a huge nerd before tbh). When I first joined, I didn't get a book guide, so I was kinda just walking around like "oh this is cool what do I do." XD And there was some huge uproar in the chat about there being two 'Luna Bennetts', and I was like wth and still confused about what to do so I ignored it mostly. But I changed my first name to Lyra when the other one came online the same time I was. Buuut, I believe I figured the Diagon Alley stuff out (even tho i could have just asked someone wiser than i but i guess i was like no im definitely not a noob nope), and got onto the platform and was showed around by someone named Jace McGregor. I had a lot of time during the first half of the summer, so I went on the server whenever possible. I joined the forums later, and started role-playing... ahahahahaha... met a lot of people through that... XD And then school came and I don't think I've been on in months, so sad. ;-; School year's almost over, though so. about 2 and a half weeks woohoo

... I went to Harry Potter world. I grew to like Harry Potter. I watch all movie. I like Minecraft. I search for Harry Potter server. I find one. I join. I like. I stay.

The greatest story ever. I must publish. I must sell. I must grow rich and famous for work. :3

1st day was just incredible, I followed @Kwesi to the school. I put on the hat and I got Hufflepuff. I was in denial I even pestered Pandette for multiple weeks asking for a restart or a house change. So after 3 months I had become a key part of the Quidditch Team with @Katna @Cora @Ryan & @TheStartreker Katna and I being the Seekers. If he wasn't there, I was. Even if he was there, I was as well showing my dedication to Quidditch. Eventually I left quidditch as a pastime and instead took up spell spamming. With the help of @whiteNnerdy234 @Kwesi (Again shocker) @ColonelBubbles @Veara Swan I found my gift. I found my gift was nonverbals and what it meant. Little did I know at this time, that it'd give me an insane advantage. I also had a wand of the Nonverbal gift, using this I was able to get Nonverbals at 1950 casts. But it had a cost, I was given the chance of more backfire... Eventually House Changes came out, I applied & I was accepted! I was now the Slytherin I had hoped to be. Although I didn't mind Hufflepuff, Slytherin no matter how much it annoys me (at times) I belong here, I belong in Slytherin. Now as a Slytherin, I'm the 1st string Seeker, 6th Year (Oh wow.. I used my Nonverbal power to get here. #AraniaExumaiWandlessYo but seriously, 2 weeks from Y2 to Y6 isn't bad I think) as well as prefect. I'm also a resigned professor of Charms & Herbology.

what is this, the 100th time someone has called you a girl? there should be a record. 

Two years ago my boyfriend at the time introduced me to Minecraft.  We played it together A LOT.  About a year ago I stopped playing Minecraft because things in my life got hectic. I  left behind a new survival server I was the primary builder for and, unfortunately, lost some good friends I'd made along the way.

Back in January, I decided I wanted to join Minecraft again.  Things had calmed down in my life, and I missed building and exploring.  I grew up loving Harry Potter, so I went on Planet Minecraft and typed in Harry Potter.  This was the first server that came up.

When I first joined, i was immediately greeted by a Gryffindor (I'm sorry to say I can't remember who it was) who quickly helped me get my wand, and led me right to Hogwarts.  She then took me  up to the Gryffindor Common Room.  I was amazed by the astonishing building abilities of the staff on this server and was anxious to get sorted.  So, my Gryffindor friend led me down to the sorting hat.  When I had taken the quiz, I was hoping for Ravenclaw.  I am definitely a Ravenclaw IRL and was determined to get into it.  Thank goodness that worked out, because I have no clue what other house I would belong to.

It's not a very exciting story, but it's mine.

When I first joined, I didn't know what to do. I was yelling in local chat (Yes, I didn't read the how-to-talk-in-global sign) screaming, "Can somebody help me?!?!?!?!" Then I pretty much got mad that nobody would help me xD So after lagging for about 121432431 minutes, I found out how to get into Diagon Alley; then I had to log off.

The next day (last week of school in real life), I went on the server again, and was able to buy all my stuff, although I lagged for another 54354352156542 minutes. I went to Hogwarts Express, and then found the two signs that said where the boats and carriages were. Being the idiot I was last year, I chose to go through the carriages. I got lost basically, and started to yell in local chat again, asking for some help. Of course, nobody helped me ;-; I had to walk around Hogwarts a bunch of times when I noticed a spot where I could jump on. I got on the bridge, and made my way to the Great Hall. Made my way to the Sorting Hat, and was sorted into Ravenclaw  

I don't remember what happened after that. 2-3 months later, I got a better computer so I had little to no lag from then on. 

Ok so I picked my first name because of my IGN and flipped through the last names then on last try I got stuck with Malfoy. At first I was like NOOOOOOOOOO! (During this I was trying to msg someone 'yes' bc they offered to guide me to school.

Then the Y1 or somebody that msged me started guiding me but then they left and Aunt Bethie guided me the rest of way. I was on the long way up from the boat house when my dad forced me off so I got on the next day and got guided to school. I had gotten sorted into Slytherin. Another disappointment at first for I wanted Gryffindor like my pottermore house. Aunt Bethie then guided me to the commonroom and then left me. I had waited almot an entire week for someone to show me how to earn money. During that week the same dude (sadly forgot his name) showed me my favorite spell Lapiota. Then from there I just kinda yeared up and made the lots of friends I have now and plan to make many more!
