You'd think that it'd give night vision to yourself and everyone around you. It only makes sense. It's not like this is a priority to fix, though.

Nope, this is intentional.

It isn't very clear on how this bug works, but when casting Sectumsempra on spiders and then relogging via Disconnect or /switch hogwarts, the player dies instantly or at least has health taken away. The player, if dead, is then sent to the hospital for more than 300 seconds. So far, only Oliver and I have experienced and tested this out, however if there are others who have encountered this bug please do say so. I'm not sure if the spell itself is just unstable in general and if we should be casting it at all.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying with this. What did you test out with Sectumsempra?

There's this "issue" with Protego in which it completely destroys itself if there's a negative effect on the caster. Say, for example, a player is hit with an Obscuro. If the player attempts to cast Protego, it will immediately negate itself and the player is left vulnerable and unprotected, thus leaving open for more offensive spells.

I agree it was fun. Very useful for pulling Seph off the DADA fishtank..

As for spells, I believe it was deleted due to it being too weak or strong. I may be wrong (and probably am), but this is what I heard.

Nope! Simply because Clove didn't push her code. Most of the other deleted spells are because Andrew didn't either.
