Knockturn Alley Cleaning

I noticed that almost all of the shops in knockturn alley have been abandoned for a very, very long time. Most of them are unchanged from when I first joined, it's a little depressing. It doesn't help that a lot of them sit empty, too. 

 

The owner of my favorite building hasn't been online for more than two months, for example. 

I just think it'd be nice to clean it up a bit and put the shops up for sale so it can look a little more lively. 

 

Correction, upon further exploration there's a chunk that's still somewhat occupied and not full of empty buildings, but the other half is still pretty empty. 

 

Also yes, I do want to buy my favorite building, very badly. 

If a user who owns a shop is offline for two or more months than their shop is removed. The shop you are commenting on is, I think, owned by the owner of the server. Also if nothing is built in a shop after two weeks after the the user bought it then it is also removed. This can all be found in the building code section.

Admins can go through the Diagon Shops and if the owner of the shop is inactive (at least 2 months), they can be cleaned out. I know that Oliver and Lisa recently did this in Diagon, so a few of the shops have been freed up.

I don't think so, it's owned by "ThatOnePottery", and it's totally empty besides some chests on an added second level. It's the first building on the right past the pet shop if you enter from the entrance to Knockturn Alley across from your shop in Diagon.

I think I will check all the shops in Knockturn Alley, and clear those that are inactive.

A few of the new admins and I were working on going through the inactive shops in Knockturn and actually started clearing out your friend's shop (ThatOnePottery). I might have left the sign up bc I needed to re-region the place but its kinda a process.

 

Thank you for you input, we do try to clear out the shops of inactive users to allow room for new shop owners. Its something that will hopefully be kept more up to date as we now have more admins to help with the process

Just don't touch the one by shardae/moosetrax there be plans for that one XD
