Possibly Updating to 1.10 within a month ~

Hey everyone,

we may be updating to 1.10 in a month or so.  If we do this however, we want to make sure this doesn't negatively impact a bunch of players.  Understand this does not mean we will never update if it does, it simply means if it does impact many people, we may not update immediately in order to not have players who can no longer play.

So, if you are a regular user please take the poll above.

If you crash when joining a 1.10 server Mojang suggests the following:

Increase allocated RAM from 1GB to 2GB (only applicable to 64 bit users)

    In the Edit Profile menu in the Launcher, check the JVM Arguments box, and change the -Xmx1G argument to -Xmx2G

Change Video Settings in-game (Options -> Video Settings)

    Enable VSync
    Disable VBOs

@Kwesi can you try fixing your settings and get back to me if that works ?

@People who have 'never been on a 1.10 server' please try one and see if u can get on it.

1.10 is very bad, however 1.10.2 had a lot of bugfixes and I prefer the latter version as crashing is as frequent (or ever lesser so that 1.9.4).

i just dont want to happen when you updated to 1.9 O-O that was verry sad

@Pandette 1.10 runs alright after I allocated more RAM, so it's working as far as I can tell.

Edit: I tried 1.10.2 and it runs, yeah.

ok.  If people who voted they cant join 1.10 can verify if 1.10.2 works that would be greaatt.

nothing under 1.10 works for me i crash every time even in single player mode
