As many ppl may know, I dun like Rictusempra. It annoys me all te time I got hit or see a newb got hit.... But Rictusempra is a spell I like in the movies (I guess you all remember little badass Draco landing on his small skinny butt xD).

Also I remember the spell Tarantalegra, that was casted on Neville by  Deatheater in HP 5. I always thought, Rictu's effect ingame has the effect of Tarantalegra in the books. But what effect should Rictu have then?

My suggestion: a push maybe like if you got hit my an explosion (pushed in the air plus fall damage). The idea suggest, that the target doesn't land on the feet, but lay on the floor like as you lay in a bed, IF it is possible to code, of course.

This would give me the motivation to cast Rictusempra and - bc it would cause damage - it would get banned from the not-damage-spells and wouldn't be casted on others to annoy and to waste their time.

Comments? Ideas to make it better? Opinion? :)

Both spells have similar effects in mc bc rictusempra is supposed to tickle the person and taratengella is supposed to make them dance.  We have an idea for tarentangella but it doesnt work in mc code as of yet, but we are trying to get it work out.

Also, the movie is incorrect with what rictusempra does.  As it is in most cases.  As we say all the time: Read the books.

Rictusempra is literally 'the tickling charm'
