Year - Tier relation

SO. I know a lot will probably not agree and idc to be honest, just giving an opinion. But. Tho people can be "smarter" for their year, I think tiers should have a relation with year. Not like, each year a tier but, for example, first years being able to get till tier 3 or 4 only. Im suggesting this because the current way it is kinda defeats the roleplay purpose as players who learn how to spell spam well right away can just get a high tier and not worry about going to classes till they realise they want to, for example, Apparate (and then too late, theyre already too lazy probably). The sort of locking would probably make more people attend class to year up. This lock could be gone after like, year 5 or 6 (so it wouldn't limit to just 2 tiers above year, rather enable the others past it).
Also if possible, this would not affect all/most current players in the situation (no hate ples xD).

I actually like this idea, because when I joined, 3 of us got to tier 7 and 8 in our 1st years. Bella Myself and Veara, were all Year 1 students, capable of beating Year 5s in duels simply because they were tier 6s. And that was very OP.. So I would LOVE to see this involved.

I think this is a great idea, honestly. It could also prevent those 'oops' situations where you're Year Two and Tier Eight and suddenly realize, "Oh, I want to Apparate!" and can't, because you're only Year Two.

I agree with this 100%, the whole idea of the tier lock was so people weren't casting Confringo at like Year One. Now though, it has become a problem again. I am all for advancement and working ahead, but outclassing like Sixth Years as a First Year? Come on, that's a bit unrealistic, unless you are Hermione Granger. I think honestly casting just one above your Year in tiers is fine, as it will encourage spell spammers to actually go to class instead of just work up in the tiers all day.

I love/hate the idea, because it restricts peoples pewers. Teh part i hate about it tho is im only y2 and im t8, but im trying to get to classes more so i can year up. I love the idea though, and I think it should be added to make the server a bit more interesting.

I love this- Some students aren't really going to class "because they don't need to" and they are Year 1/2'a with tier 8/9. This would bring more students to class and encourage yearing up.
