Hi, i'm here to hopefully request a few new official ways that players may obtain (House) points. I hope that if a staff member reads this, they take it into consideration.

First of all, I think it's pretty hard to obtain enough house points to 'year-up' (as it may be said.) I was hoping that I could offer a few new ways that players could obtain house points. Also, if you want to, you should leave a response of other ideas, (I hope you do.)

Some of the ways to get house points I thought of:

--Host rare, special events in which players can obtain points by completing challenges (By achieving a top rank, out of all participants.)

--Award house points to winning teams of Quidditch.

--Allow students to do small 'errands' (Basically small jobs, "Quests" if you would so call it.)

Some random ideas I had:

~Higher 'year' students, can give small amounts of their points to other students (That help them or whatever.)

~Students can compete in the gold cup event, (Sorry, I forgot what it was called, but it was in some Harry Potter book/movie.)

I have posted this somewhat because I am concerned about the progress lock I have heard about. However, I hope someone accepts my ideas or has others in which they can put as a reply. (I'm sorry if that's not how reply's work, take in mind, this is my first forums post.)

Thanks for reading  :), have a nice day!

I think this is a good idea , apart from people being able to give away points because 1. A person can get points without earning them and the person that did earn them will lose them. And 2. It may cause people to be constantly bugged by people asking for points.

I like the idea of being able to do small jobs or quests for teachers, even if it's just something like fetching them a book and quill or handing out quizzes. It's not too hard to get points from homework but a little diversity wouldn't hurt.

Side Note: This is not the correct forum for this at all, I just noticed lol.

This should be in suggestions.

Yeah, as mentioned, this should be in the suggestions topic.

Also, its not a bad suggestion, but I don't think this goes along very well with the roleplay aspect of things. People manage just fine to year up with doing homework, quizzes, and exams, which are all things that points should be given for. However, I do like the idea of little 'quests'.

Really the only valid thing is quests and that has been suggested, what...10 times? I lost count. I also think it's planned.

Yeah, the Staff has already thought of these kinds of things and they're in their plans. It should be exciting to see things like these in the future, they'll implement things like them eventually.

Why is this in the clubs section of the forums instead of the suggestions section...?

Sorry that I accidentally posted this in the clubs section. I had no idea that I even had control over where I posted something. This is all new to me and pretty sudden, it seems very complicated, so please forgive me about where this post is located. Not to sound unprofessional, but it took me over 20 minutes to figure out how to even post anything.
