My perspective: As a year 1 tier 9 I know I might seem biased in this, but I think in my position I am the best to talk about it. I am representing what I think to be an unspoken minority. The people who like to spell spam but don't enjoy classes. The year lock supports the play style of going to classes (obviously) which in my perspective at least right now classes are boring and annoying. The year lock supports the play style of going to classes whether it exists or not. People who like classes will not be affected by this change. People who like to spell spam, however, DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE! We are an unrepresented minority who don't get a choice in the say of the matter either way. One way we get what we want the other we don't. They get what they want either way. I think it would benefit everyone if we didn't have a year lock.
Bella (Keep in mind a Year 7 Tier 12): okay I'm a year 7 t12 player so yea the year lock doesn't screw me over at all but doesn't matter people don't like to go to classes for reasons or they can't get to classes at all cause teachers don't teach when they get on so they are stuck to only a few spells and not being able to play with other magic and see what they like me I never liked going to classes cause I know all they do is copy and paste what's down in the class schedule cause I did it but I also changed it up some to i made classes fun which atm no teacher does if I was in jew spot I would hate it to why stop a playstyle people like doing some people love classes some don't why force the people who don't like classes to go to them this isn't real life its a game people shouldn't be forced to do something they don't like
Anonymous user on Discord (Year 4, Tier 2; Doesn't like spell spamming that much but agrees with me): Learning/classes aren't everyone's strong suit and maybe spell spamming/spells are. Taking that away is kind of inconsiderate. https://gyazo.com/50...910e26d815dc8c1(proof I'm not just making it up)
