Teir lock is great! Hands down I wasn't the biggest fan but if you look at the ranges it's perfect I thought it was tier one=year one but NOPE! A year One can get teir 3 at that time I myself thought I needed to tear up! And so on the teir lock isn't that bad!! I love it and it yass depth to the game.Conclusion read announcements before you talk!

By tier lock are you talking about the tier/year lock, where players can get through tiers 3,5,7,9,11,13,15,all in relationship to year 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,graduated?
I would agree with the above, its not bad, and its definitely kept me looking for a class, even though i can only be on for SHORT amounts of time on weekdays and DECENT (an hour or two) on weekends, so getting to class is very hard for me
