For creating a server shop/selling stuff, there is a tutorial on that in Discussion I believe. For getting galleons, you can do /vote, kill mobs in the forbidden forest, or trade with other players. The best way in my opinion, is voting, as each link gives you 5 galleons. You can vote every 24 hours on every link. It's easy money.
