Resignation - Veara Titan

I'd be kind of surprised if some of you haven't already seen this coming (considering I post MIAs pretty frequently now), but the time is here. Here's a good thing though: I'm not resigning because of people on the server, I'm resigning because of time. 

I have been staff for months now, starting with me becoming a Professor, leading into Moderator. In all of these months, I've always wanted to be on the server and just keep playing on Knockturn, helping people out and hosting classes. 8th Grade is when I became staff, and it lead into 9th Grade. Now that I find myself in High School, school just became 90% more important.

Time is really becoming an issue for me, and at the beginning of the school year, I thought I had this all handled. I never got below a 90% on any of the tests in my classes, so I assumed I was fine the way that I was. Then more material came at me, and my test scores were decreasing slightly every week. This was an eye-opener to me, and I knew that I had to change something.

I started taking breaks from Knockturn, posting a few MIAs so I could focus on school more. The more I did this, the more I found teaching classes and fulfilling my Admin duties as a chore. I did not want them to be a chore.

So here I am, posting this resignation, because I'd rather resign than get fired. If I didn't post this resignation, I would post yet another MIA saying I'd be gone for 2 weeks. That'd just be too much time gone, and I'd just be a place-holder for another Admin or Professor who has more time than I do.

Just want to clarify something: This doesn't mean I'll be quitting the server. I'll still drop on the server sometimes and play like a normal player, and there's a good chance that, when I have more time, I will re-apply for staff in the future. I look forward to that time, but in the mean time, I will be focusing on school.

I'm pretty sure that some of you will actually miss me off of staff, and some of you won't. I've made my peace with that, and I just want to let you guys know that I'll miss being on Staff with all of you :)

We're really REALLY going to miss you Veara. When I first got Professor and was a Magical Theory professor up to when I ironically made it as a Potions Professor magically being your Prof Buddy again. You were an AMAZING staff member and we're going to miss you! Good luck!
