The Anderson Family, pure bloods, mostly Slytherin. We like to keep our information away from others. The Anderson Family has a rich back story, and it can now be revealed...

OUR MOTTO: Stand Sure

In 1236, a man known as Arnold Anderson (d. 1252) married Francesca Young (d. 1241). These two are the only fully known ancestors of the family. Over generations, our mansion grew in size until 1925 when Breya Anderson (d. 1957) decided to put the valuables inside the Anderson Vault at Gringotts. After more marriages, we reach the First Wizarding War. In 1979, the Anderson Family was completely wiped out, except for one widowed husband and one sister-in-law. They were known as Geoff Anderson (d. 2005) and Lizzy Wish (d. 2016). They had 4 children in 1986, all of which went to Hogwarts during the 2nd Wizarding War. The first son, Drayton (d. 2033) was one of the rebellious children. The second son, Gerald (d. 2021) was one of the most intelligent Anderson's ever recorded, he died due to the killing curse during an ambush at the Ministry caused by an escaped Death Eater, Gerald worked in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The first daughter, Alyria (d. 2004), was one of the sweetest of the four children, her innocence led to her death in 2004, during an incident near the Forbidden Forest in her 6th Year as she went to collect a special leaf for her potions lesson the next day. Finally, the second daughter, Ellie Anderson (d. at birth) died at birth due to complications.

Drayton had 4 children, Alistar, Thomas, Ali and Nightshade. All of which moved to Australia in 2021, leaving their father behind. Alyria had 1 child, she gave birth in the hospital wing at Hogwarts. This baby, along with Alyria, was sent home for the year. This baby was called Kathleen (Kat). Her daughter died in 2031 on her way to work. Gerald Anderson had 4 children, Jerry, Silly, Lax and Xillion. All of these, except for Jerry died from dragon pox in 2016. Jerry lived on and married a girl named Gloria. They had 4 children: Nathan, Spade, Chris and Thomas. The rest of the family, except Thomas, disconnected and moved to America before reaching Hogwarts. Thomas stayed with his father before marrying and having 8 children: Asteart, Byron, Jacob, Brandon, Absolabby, Zelda, Luffy and finally, Josh Anderson.

(This will be continued when the family 'extends', so to say)

Anderson Owned Heirlooms

The Anderson Family has recently uncovered some ancient heirlooms, not to mention the family has uncovered more information about ancestors!

In 934 A.D, Fivilus Anderson crafted his own mortar and pestle. This pestle and mortar were used in making lots of potions and funnily enough, there is no damage. The pestle was destroyed in 1979 during a house raid - a witch came to the home pretending to sell sweets. Instead, she poked her wand out from the basket and used 'reducto' on the house causing two or three rooms to be completely destroyed. The pestle was never found. The Mortar is currently in my possession.

Anderson Misplaced Heirlooms

One of the first heirlooms ever recorded. In 215 A.D, Reginald Anderson brought bark from an elder tree in attempt to create a wand out of elder. He failed miserably and the bark has been damaged. The bark was last recorded in 1628 where it was misplaced by presumed Anderson member Henry. Little is known about how and why it was misplaced. It is rumoured that Henry took it out to sell, but he never arrived at the store...

Another heirloom that was misplaced was a recent heirloom. Breya Anderson's watch. This watch went down until the time of Geoff and Lizzy Anderson. The watch was buried with Geoff in attempt to harness some magical powers rumoured to bring one back from the grave. Geoff was never brought back and the watch remains in his grave, where? that secret died with Lizzy Wish as she prohibited her children from attending the funeral.

Our final known misplaced heirloom would be the wedding rings of Arnold and Francesca Anderson. These were passed down for every marriage up until 1957 when Breya Anderson placed them in the vault at Gringotts. The wedding rings have never been found.
