Staff not knowing what to do

Today my friend asked a staff member if they could buy a house and they said you have to build one and left. They never responded to her. This makes me mad because staff members should know what this means.

This entirely depends on the staff member, and many minimods are still in training.  Aside from that, as we have made pretty clear, the only one who can help you buy a house in london is an Admin, so even if you asked a staff member who is a minimod to help you buy a house, they would be of no assistance.

Finally, I will remind you that all our staff are NORMAL people & have lives and are not going to know everything instantly or understand everything you say with perfect accuracy.  They are not computers they are people.  If you signed up to be a staff member you would not know 100% of the time everything people asked either.

I have read the faq like 20 times because that is all you tell us to do and it doesnt even help. You need to make more faq so it helps a little more.

You could ask a higher ranking staff (just not owner) and they will know better then the new staff members, just as Pandette said!

Also half the questions we get asked are extremely unclear , Technically there's not any houses they are apartments and shops. If they were requesting a house that would be in towny and they would need to make one so in essence the staff member was correct. We are in the process of recruiting more people since the server is becoming popular. Also if the staff member logged off and just gave a quick answer they might have had to leave. If the answer was still unclear the user should approach another staff member for clarification.
