Transfiguration Competition

Next Saturday, April 16th, at around 7:30 PM EST, A Transfiguration competition will be help in the courtyard outside of the Transfig room.

Players must be prepared with spells that transfigure blocks, They will enter the arena 2 at a time and face their respective boards. The boards will be made up of a 4x4 of blocks that can be transfigured. When you begin all you need to do is try to be the first to transfigure your blocks to match the example board that will be in the middle of the two competitor's boards. We don't expect you to keep them all matching the example board, admins will be on standby to break a block once you transfigure it. Just try to get them all as fast as you can. 

1st place: 300 Galleons

2nd place: 200 Galleons

3rd place: 100 Galleons

If you do not feel that you would be able to quickly cast spells then do not enter if you don't want too.

This will be a test of your casting abilities in a way so be sure to study your transfig book and gets lots and lots of practice.

I really doubt anyone has these spells Nonverbal, but will Nonverbal casting be allowed @FlareFritz? Also, I will take a wild guess and assume only spells taught in the Beginners Guide to Transfig will be incorporated?

can the teachers of that subject compete?

@whiteNnerdy234 Yes, nonverbals will be allowed and it will only consist of spells taught in Y1 and found in the Transfig textbook currently on sale in Flourish and Blotts.

@FlareFritz So will ALL spells from the year one book be included? Like all the color spells?

@TheStarteker Any spells in the book that alter blocks while they are placed in the world have a chance to be included. So be sure to study up on them all :3
