The Homonculos Charm is a very advanced charm that is very difficult to master. When casted upon a map it will show anyone who reads the map where everyone inside the located area of the map. This charm will even work when people use Polyjuice potions, Cloaks of Invisibility, Animagus, and ghosts will also be tracked by the map. The most famous documented  use of the Homonculos Charm is 1975-1978 when James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin all helped to make the Marauder's map. The map was made using the Homonculos Charm but other charms were used. Such as a charm that was used to make it impossible form only one person to use it, Professor Snape. Instead of letting him use the map it would constantly insult him. In addition the map has another charm which puts a type of lock on the map It would be unless someone were to taps there wand against the map and says "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." After that the whole map will be revealed showing the names of everyone in the area. Then to "lock" the map you must tap the map with your wand and say "Mischief managed." Then all the ink will vanish.

Flaws: There are a couple of flaws with the charm. (Note: This flaw is from the Marauder's Map) One flaw is that the map is that the map is not able to distinguish the difference of similar names. One famous example is from Barty Crouch Sr. and Barty Crouch Jr., Barty Crouch Sr. son. In Harry Potter's 4th Year when Barty Crouch Jr. was disguised as Alastor Moody but when Harry Potter looked at the map it didn't say Alastor Moody since the charm is not fooled by Polyjuice potions. Instead it said Barty Crouch so when Harry Potter looked at the map he thought it was only the Minister of Magic in the school.

Also if areas on the map are uncharted or Unplottable you are not able to see anyone who walks into the area. Some examples of when this happens is, number one, in 1995 when Harry Potter found the Room of Requirements he could not have found the Room on his map since the area was Unplottable. In 1997 right before the Battle for Hogwarts Harry check the Marauder's Map for Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry could not find them since they were in the Chamber of Secrets. There are two different reasons why this happened. Number one the Chamber of Secrets could had have an Unplottable charm placed upon it by Salazar Slytherin. Or the map makers James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin did not know where the Chamber of Secrets was located so they did not mark it upon the map.

The creator of the Homonculos charm is Eugene Glamstick. The story goes that Eugene was a traveler who was traveling across the land in 419 B.C. searching far and wide for a new spells that he can learn to teach other wizards and witches. One day during one of Mr. Glamstick's evening strolls he found an abandoned house in ruins. He searched the ruins until he found a map with the words Homonculos on it. The Eugene instinctively, being a wizard, waved his wand randomly and said Homonculos. Suddenly Eugene realized the map was of Hamburg and as soon as he tapped the map with his wand the ink started to shift around until Eugene was able to make out his own name right in the center of the map. But as he looked closer at the map more names began to appear. Eugene did not know what he had done to discover this charm but obviously he wasn't the first, there was no way for anyone to know who the first person to discover the charm was he was named the creator of the Homonculos Charm.

This charm is advanced magic since you must have a lot of concentration. A break in the concentration would result in disastrous events. The tiniest thought of something other then the charm and

An animagus is a wizard or witch that can turn themselves into a specific animal willfully. Unlike a metamorphmagus, it is not and inherited trait, but it is a learned skill. Becoming an animagus is very difficult. There is a potential chance that it can backfire and have something go horribly wrong with the transformation. The process of becoming an animagus is very long and hard, and one of the steps includes "holding the leaf of a mandrake in their mouth for an entire month" quoted by Violet Elphirk, editor of Witch Weekly Magazine. The process of becoming an animagi is very hard, but can be very rewarding. Some witches and wizards turn into birds and enjoy having the ability to fly without having to use a broomstick!

Turning into an animagus is technically in the field of transfiguration, which is taught here at hogwarts and many other wizarding schools and establishments. The science behind transfiguration is crutial to the symbolism behind transfiguration and the transfiguration alphabet. Many who turn into animagi study the transfiguration alphabet, because the transfiguration alphabet is very important in the study of transfiguration and majorly helps those who chose to study transfiguration.

Witches and wizards who have an animagus are completely tied to that one animagus. An animagus is not determined by the witch or wizard, but the animagus they have is based upon their personality traits. Many witches and wizards have the same patronus as their animagus, for instance, Minerva McGonagall's animagus was a cat, as was her patronus.

Every animagus has a trait that the witch or wizard has. For example, Rita Skeeter and Minerva McGonagall both had spectacles, and their animagi had markings around their eyes.

When a human transforms into an animagus, their clothing does not appear on the animal. When they transform back, they still have clothing on. It is unknown what physically happens to the clothing, but one explanation would be if the clothing morphed into the skin/fur of the animal. Though there are more theories and explanations that have been put out there by the wizarding community, the fact still remains that we don't know what happens to the clothing.

That's all for the sample. Thanks!

The Homonculos Charm

The Homonculos Charm is a very advanced charm that is very difficult to master. When casted upon a map it will show anyone who reads the map where everyone inside the located area of the map. This charm will even show where people are when they use Polyjuice potions, Cloaks of Invisibility, or are Animagus. Even ghosts will also be tracked by the charm.

(Note: This flaw is noted the Marauder's Map) One flaw with the charm is that the charm is not able to distinguish the difference of similar names.

Also if areas are uncharted or Unplottable you are not able to see anyone who walks into the area. Some examples of when this happens is, number one, in 1995 when Dobby told Harry Potter about the Room of Requirements. Harry could not have found the Room on his map since the area was Unplottable. In 1997 right before the Battle for Hogwarts Harry check the Marauder's Map for Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry could not find them since they were in the Chamber of Secrets. There are two different reasons why this happened. Number one is that the Chamber of Secrets could had have an Unplottable charm placed upon it by Salazar Slytherin. Or the map makers James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin did not know where the Chamber of Secrets was located so they did not mark it upon the map.

The discoverer of the Homonculos charm is Eugene Glamstick. The story goes that Eugene was a traveler who was traveling across the land, in 419 B.C., searching far and wide for a new spells that he can learn to teach other wizards and witches across the world. One day during one of Mr. Glamstick's evening strolls he found an abandoned house in ruins. He searched the ruins until he found a map with the word Homonculos on it. Eugene instinctively, being a wizard, waved his wand randomly and said Homonculos with great concentration. Suddenly Eugene realized the map was a map of Hamburg and as soon as he tapped the map with his wand the ink started to shift around until Eugene was able to make out his own name right in the center of the map. But as he looked closer at the map more names began to appear. Eugene did not know what he had done to discover this charm but obviously he wasn't the first, but since there was no way for anyone to know who the first person to discover the charm was he was named the discoverer of the Homonculos Charm. Eugene Glamstick died shortly after discovering the charm but not until he told many people about his discovery. He died one day when he returned to Florence, his hometown, to demonstrate his spell. He casted it many times successfully until one day he was interrupted by his wife when he was casting the spell causing him to lose focus and die. Eugene lived from 383 B.C. - 420 B.C.. He lived a short yet, fulfilling life.

This charm is advanced magic since you must have a lot of concentration. A break in the concentration would result in disastrous events. When James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin created the Marauder's Map they were lucky that they didn't lose concentration or else they would have surely been expelled or worse dead.
