Nope, you have to be online in-game in main world to have /vote work :)

Simple Question, but is it possible to vote and get galleons while you are not actually on minecraft? Like, vote for the server, but not actually be on the server? I'm Curious...

Its probably like that , because then you could not go on the server for a month , get a bunch of galleons and when you come online you are rich.
