Hey dere. I need to post another MIA... darn it ;-;

So, basically, my parents have decided to push me ahead in school, which basically means I get two more classes, which also means more homework, quizzes, and tests! Hurray!! (Sarcasm..)

With some of you who are going to be sad if I don't explain what the heck I even mean: My parents decided I was 'bored' with school (I pay attention 5% of the time, don't apply myself on homework, don't try on quizzes/tests, yet I still make A's)

My parents were wondering how they can advance me, and went through a lot of possible choices (some of them even having me stop doing school all together.. darn them for not picking that one!!) and decided the best choice for me is to advance me and see if I can handle it.

Most of you know I'm ahead, if you don't, yeah, I'm ahead two years. I'm suppose to be in 6th grade, but I'm in 8th. I also now have two 9th grade subjects, Geography and Physical Science. This is 7 classes, and that's an extra hour of videos for me.

I also am only going to get two weeks off at the end of 8th grade, and then I'll start 10th grade. After that, I'll start dual enrollment, which means I can start Liberty online (Liberty is a college). Look online for 'Dual Enrollment' for more info on it.

So yeaa, this basically means the next 1 1/2 years of my life are going to be a lot of rushing now to finish all of this by the time Liberty enrollments start. Hopefully I can still play, but it means a lot more studying, and I want to prove to people that I'm capable of doing this next step in my life. I've already noticed my grades dropping from the sudden stress, so I need to calm down and study more to hopefully bring them back up.

So, that's it... I think? Wow, long post. ANYWAY, hopefully I can still play, but I have to sacrifice pleasures in my life (Knockturn, video-games, music, writing, reading, etc.) for stupid stuff like school. This probably won't last a whole year and a half, but it'll be at least a week before I can get used to my new schedule. Dat's it. Byee :)

Good luck being the vessel for your parents to "succeed in life".
It is really cool that you are ahead and doing well but just remember that sometimes we are not meant to rush it.
and there will always be a place for us in the world regardless of education and how far ahead we are.

I am sure you will return some day when you got time, so until then; Take care and enjoy what little breaks you get as much as possible :)

@Crane

Yeah, but I think that I'm ready for this next step in my life. We'll see in a few weeks if I'm able to handle it. If I can't, then my parents will just have me do 9th grade like normal, and nothing will be lost. I'll still be able to play, I just can't be on all the time like normal, maybe an hour a day would be a good compromise for my parents.

@Bel!øna

I'll miss you too Mummy3 ;-; I'll still be able to play, just not as much as normal ;-;

@Draco

Ty, I'm doing better than some kids my own age, but there are still a lot of people who are better off than me. I don't really spend hours at a time discussing it and talking about how smart I am, irl when people find out I don't really like it as they make such a big deal out of it when it really isn't. I'm just a normal kid who's homeschooled and is allowed to be ahead. If all kids were given this opportunity 3/4 of them would succeed, so it isn't really that special.

Good luck with everything! Remember to take care of yourself, even if you don't feel you need to or have time. ^_^
